Evidence boundaries
- Client-reported activity; a device signature does not attest the capture software or establish independent authorship.
- Typing can include material read on another device. AI-source amounts describe observed pastes, not inferred AI authorship.
- Reference-editor events and external document snapshots have different coverage. Unmatched changes are unobserved; source matching and edit tracking can be incomplete.
- Counts and passage offsets use UTF-16 units, including whitespace. The fingerprint uses SHA-256 of exact UTF-8 text.
