TWO APPS. ONE WRITING AUDIT.

Choose where you want to record.

Start with the desktop app or the Chrome extension. Each can keep a local writing history on its own. Pair them for more browser detail and desktop source context.

Browser setup and help
BETTER TOGETHER

Pair once. Keep more context.

The extension adds browser document snapshots and input events to the desktop audit. The desktop adds observed sources from other apps. Pairing uses the same Google Docs document identity, so browser capture enriches the existing desktop project.

  1. Run the desktop app and install the Chrome preview.
  2. Open the extension and choose Enable recording. It automatically finds the Windows app.
  3. Choose Yes in the Windows connection prompt. The extension shows Connected and reconnects automatically after that.

Account linking is separate and optional. When enabled, linked desktop metadata sync runs every 15 seconds. Manuscript text and full source URLs remain local.

More capture provides more context, not an authorship guarantee. Reports identify their capture mode, observed sources, and gaps. Missing evidence stays unknown.
